Hladen kavni napitek z kremasto peno (tako kot imajo naši pirčki). Fajn osvežilen, ne pregrenek in ne presladek.
Za dodatno osvežitev nitro cold brew kavi dodaj še nežen limonin tonic. Probaj, ne bo ti žal.
Če je po 10. uri zjutraj, po službi ali pa se vsaj že voha vikend … si privošči en cold brew gin & tonic, zapri oči in upaj da ti ga kdo ne sune z mize.
V čem je sploh fora te kave?
Najbolj znana metoda “cold brew-a” poteka na hitro nekako tako: grobo kavo namočimo v hladno vodo, pustimo namakat 24ur ter jo nato precedimo (filtriramo). Cold brew lahko sicer naredimo tudi po drugih metodah, s kombinacijo vroče vode (pri kateri je boljša ekstrakcija) in ledu (sprotno hlajenje) v filter pripravi (chemex), kjer lahko kavo takoj uporabimo ali pa jo pustimo počivat. Dodamo lahko tudi sirupe in začimbe, ki so odvisne predvsem od kave in okusa.
Nitro (dušik), ki se npr. uporablja pri stoutih (Guinness) ali pri smetani “na bombico”, daje kavi posebno noto in teksturo – predvsem pa preseneti vizualno, saj spominja na pivo.
Kava se servira se z ledom, lahko se doda tudi mleko. Predvsem priporočamo rastlinska mleka, ki še kavo dodatno osladkajo .
